With the installation of an ILS system (Instrument Landing System) in 1994, all categories of aircraft can conduct instrument landings at the Warsaw Airport with weather minimums of a 200-foot ceiling and ¾ mile visibility. The ILS provides better and safer access to Warsaw and is an economic development attraction for future businesses wishing to locate or expand in our community.

The largest orthopedic companies in the world are based in Warsaw, Indiana, and they all depend on Warsaw Municipal Airport for their operations. The facility also offers flight instruction, aircraft rental, and charter is available. We are making every effort to improve and maintain our gateway to the community, and to promote and educate the general public and local government about the importance of general aviation. We are growing and are proud of our facilities.
