Level II Non Destructive Testing (NDT) Technician

Core Responsibilities:

Responsible for the Level II NDT Technician
• Accurately complete inspection forms, logs, records and check sheets in any format
• Engage with engineering organization during the development phase of programs to ensure a clean & timely transition to the field
• Train and mentor level I technicians in current methods and new technology
• Provide support to cross functional teams including Sales & Product Management
• Prepares material to properly examine materials by cleaning, identifying, setup
• Under limited supervision, performs non-destructive test on precision parts
• Performing tasks using the methods, process parts, interpret, evaluate and document test results in accordance with NDT procedures
• Completes computer and paperwork transactions required to forward product to complete the manufacturing process
• Will adhere to all quality and safety standards and demonstrate a strong focus on customer satisfaction
• Set up and operate non-destructive testing equipment to locate and measure internal and external defects in product

Experience for Level II NDT Technician
• High School Degree
• Certified in Level II in Liquid Penetrant Testing and Radiography
• Experience with ISO 13485 requirements
• Excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in English
• Must be able to articulate and understand verbal and written instructions
• Qualified to set up, initiate techniques, and perform testing in accordance with applicable specifications
• Able to interpret and evaluate test results in accordance with applicable codes, standards, specifications, and prepare written reports of test results
• On job training and supervision of Level I personnel
