Continuous Improvement

Monday, October 21, 2019

Like us, you are probably beginning to plan for 2020. As Benjamin Franklin is quoted as saying, “if you fail to plan, you are planning to fail.” On Friday, our team reviewed the 2019 work plan and began to sketch out our priorities for next year. Here are four questions we used to guide our discussion:

  • What is working well?
  • What could be better?
  • What should we start or do more of?
  • What should we do less of or end?

Now that we are nearly one-year into the 2019 KEDCo Strategic Launch, we are shifting our primary focus toward building capacity to sustain our momentum going forward. To that end, we are also joining other community partners to invest in a stakeholder engagement process to drive decision making so that we can “do more faster.”

We are mindful that opportunities have expiration dates, so encourage all of our clients, partners, and stakeholders to invest time in planning and seek to continuously get better.
