Determining where to live and plant roots is a big decision. It needs to be the right place for you to call a house…home. We’re with you, and we’re here to help you along the journey. The KEDCO Housing Initiative was created to provide more opportunities to live in Kosciusko County.

After a housing needs study showed market potential for 2,000 additional units in Kosciusko County, KEDCO was identified to lead county-wide housing efforts to create more market rate, workforce housing, with a key focus on proximity to employment centers.

We are a partner in the local housing coalition, and serve as a local optimizer with housing experts at Club 720 to help bridge gaps between local communities, developers, and employers.

• Goal: Our primary goal is to support small municipalities in growing vibrant, thriving communities. That includes expanding housing options for families of all types and income levels—at prices they can truly afford.
• Goal: Improve employee retention by reducing commute times to 15 minutes or less and reduce the number of commuters to 10% less than the national average.
• Goal: Increase number of residents to contribute toward the region’s population growth goal.
